On Friday 13th January, 5 pupils from 6th Form travelled to Ellen Wilkinson School in Acton to compete in a multi-school boccia competition. We competed against over 10 other schools.
Pupil focussed on ‘teamwork’ as the core value for the competition and had to vote for the team that demonstrated the best teamwork throughout the competition. Walid supported his classmates to use the ramp and all the pupils showed excellent sportsmanship – applauding team mates and shaking hands with the opposition.
We stayed for the medal ceremony and received a Willow Tree Sports Partnership competitors medal.
